Peru: Org. founded by Maryknoll Sr. Patricia Ryan wins human rights award

Maryknoll Sister Patricia Ryan in Peru

Announcement in the July-August issue of NewsNotes.

Congratulations to Maryknoll Sr. Patricia Ryan and Derechos Humanos y Medio Ambiente (DHUMA), on being named the 2018 recipients of the Letelier-Moffitt International Human Rights Award for their work with indigenous farmers in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Sister Pat and other members of DHUMA plan to attend the award ceremony on October 4 in Washington, D.C.
