Tell Pres. Biden: Address Urgent Crisis in Sudan

Tell Pres. Biden to work for a truce in Sudan and expansion of corridors for humanitarian aid.

War in Sudan between two generals now drags on into its sixteenth month, and there is still no end in sight. In a UN press briefing on Tuesday, August 13, UN officials warned that there are famine conditions now and stated that the situation grows worse by the hour. Officials warned that tens of thousands of Sudanese children could die of starvation and malnutrition.

Learn more from the article Seven things you need to know about Sudan’s humanitarian crisis from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHR).

Send a message to President Biden asking for renewed effort at brokering peace in the war-torn country.
